MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers,

floor of the Ashtabula City Municipal Building, at 4717 Main Avenue,
Ashtabula, Ohio, in accordance with Codified Ordinance
Sections 1109.05 and
1185.02, for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding a request to:

NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City
Council of the City of Ashtabula, Ohio will hold a SPECIAL MEETING
on MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2010, at 5:45 P.M.,
in Council Chambers located on the 1 st
Floor of the Ashtabula City
Municipal Building at 4717 Main Avenue,
Ashtabula, Ohio, in accordance with the provisions of Ashtabula
City Charter Sections 10 and 49, to permit the City Council to:
VOTE ON LEGISLATION PERTINENT TO THE
OPERATIONS OF THE CITY OF ASHTABULA, INCLUDING THE HARBOR HISTORICAL
DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

First Engery has hired the Haverfield Co. to
perform normal aerial inspections on all of CEI 138kV transmission lines
beginning Monday, January 11th through March. The helicopter will be
flying slowly along the lines, and will hover & circle individual structures for
a closer inspection and to obtain photographs. The helicopter is black
with red stripes, registration number N765KV.

General Information
Council
Meetings are held in the Council
Chambers in the Municipal Building (Key Bank Building) 4717 Main Avenue.
Pre-Council meetings will take place in the
1st
Floor Conference Room.
Council Meetings are 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7
p.m. Council
Meetings are televised live on Channel 21. Council Meetings are NOT video recorded.
Channel 21 is used by Ashtabula Area City Schools when
Council is not being televise. The City does not have any involvement the programming.
Time Warner Cable Channel 30 - Community Bulletin Board
Community Events may be posted by going to the Time Warner Cable Office located
at 2904 State Road, Ashtabula, Ohio, to fill out a form. The City does not
administer this. |
