Public hearings are held to inform the citizens of Ashtabula, Ohio and all interested parties, of various matters including, but not limited to, budgets, re-zonings, street vacations and certain special use permit requests, referred to the City Council.  Public Hearings give the general public the opportunity to comment on matters prior to the Council’s formal vote at a regular or special meeting of the Council.

 

SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Ashtabula, Ohio will hold a SPECIAL MEETING on MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2010, at 5:45 P.M., in Council Chambers located on the 1st Floor of the Ashtabula City Municipal Building at 4717 Main Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, in accordance with the provisions of Ashtabula City Charter Sections 10 and 49, to permit the City Council to:

VOTE ON LEGISLATION PERTINENT TO THE OPERATIONS OF THE CITY OF ASHTABULA, INCLUDING THE HARBOR HISTORICAL DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Ashtabula, Ohio will meet in a Public Hearing on MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, located on the 1st floor of the Ashtabula City Municipal Building, at 4717 Main Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, in accordance with Codified Ordinance

Sections 1109.05 and 1185.02, for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding a request to:
